I’d never heard of this dude until a couple of hours ago when Melbourne producer Styalz Fuego posted this video on his Twitter.
I laughed at first but by the end of the song the hook and melody had gotten stuck in my head. I watched it again and again and suddenly realised that this is a JAM.
The fella behind this song and video is Bangs, a 19 year old Sudanese rapper who now lives in Melbourne. He’s recently put together an album, Hard 2 Be Up, most of which you can hear on his YouTube channel. Bangs has his own super unique style that I’m sure most will find humorous at first, but with time will understand the pure genius that is your baby boy Bangs.
Bangs optimistically describes himself as a ‘Superstar Hip Hop Artist’ and I hope this blog post is the beginning of him becoming just that. Go Bangs!
