A few months ago, the Heaps Decent team made the journey out to Wilcannia to kick-start our quarterly workshop program with kids throughout the area. The first stop was at St. Therese’s Mission School, where they were able to record a couple of tracks with some of the adorable students (who ranged from 5 to 8 years of age) – “We Come From Wilcannia” and “Dinnertime”.
Funded by the Department Of Social Inclusion, the Wilcannia project will run for the next two years. Involving 8 trips to Wilcannia, the project has already proven itself to be a great success. Heaps Decent are incredibly excited to bring you “Dinnertime”– a word of warning though, don’t watch this on an empty stomach!
