Hey you guys!
Thanks to everyone who entered the Heaps Decent remix contest! There were a lot of great remixes of Lomandra Crew to get through, sorry it took us so long to decide who won. The coolest part of this contest will be playing the winning entries to the Lomandra Crew themselves!

What I like about this one is that it was kept at hip hop tempo but made SUPER EPIC with those synths. Nice work Mr TRIANGL, you've won your very own Apogee ONE, the very same soundcard that recorded the Lomandra Crew vocals! Big thanks to the good folks at Apogee for supplying the prize.

Meiko Remix:

Meiko gave us another hip hop tempo remix with synths that unfortunately weren't quite as EPIC as TRIANGL's remix. This plods along real nice though. 

Jacuzzi Club Remix:

If this were a contest for greatest production name ever, Jacuzzi Club would've won for sure. Their remix has a great groove to it, I love the drums. 

George Lenton Remix:

This was a team favourite and we have actually been playing this one out in the club! I felt like the kids who rapped would feel gypped if this remix won because so little of the actual vocals were used. It's still sick though!

Opulent Sound Remix:

Lots of remixes tried to go house tempo and they didn't really pull it off. Opulent Crew's remix works though, plus I was thrilled to hear myself screaming "OHHHH!" just after the breakdown as the beat kicked in.

Uncle Petey's Remix:
Heaps Decent - Lomandra (Uncle Petey's Singsong Extravangenza! Remix) by Subvader

How could we not love this one? This is easily the most original remix entry. Maybe secretly this one is the best. Well done Uncle Petey, whoever you are.
