It’s fashion week in New York, which means nothing to me other than there’s a bunch of crazy parties happening all over town that full of open bars and people wearing preposterous outfits. Last night was the big V Magazine party to celebrate the special “New York” issue of the magazine. Other than seeing a bunch models drinking their body weight in free vodka and helping a very confused Courtney Love get down a flight of stairs, the highlight of my evening was hanging out with Maluca and her crew (including Rye Rye!). Maluca is featured in the new issue of V and was photographed amazingly by Terry Richardson especially for the magazine. Basically, everyone at the party was living for her and her amazing outfit, including myself. After a shot at the bar turned into two or three or four, the Maluca whirlwind swept me up and carried me to the east village where we drank, danced, and eventually closed down a bar on second avenue. I clumsily poured myself into a cab while Maluca and crew went off in search of another party. It was basically all in a day’s work for her.
