Okay, after three days i think i'm finally recovered from last Saturdays Los Angeles Mad Decent Block Party. This one had more food, a bigger VIP and more acts on the bill than any of the previous Block Parties, what else would you expect from L.A. I met people that came from all over to come to this one and I know we didn't disappoint.

As with all the other parties so far everyone came out and tore it up, try to find a shot of Gaslamp Killer not having a seizure while he's playing, you can't, he rippped it.

It was a bummer I missed Thee Mike B and Nosaj Things sets, they always kill it. But i got there just in time for the Popo Bros and they did their thing and even shouted me out during their set, Yay!

After Popo, NGUZUNGUZU took over and got the crowd going with music I have no way to describe. I always here what NGUZU plays and try to keep a mental note because its exactly the type of music that i wanna make. Odd, weird rhythms that sound ripped off of an african kids youtube from the year 3000.

Then the party reached madness status with Maluca hitting the stage, she came on and murdered the place like nothing i've ever seen before, totally insane!!!

Next up Bosco tore apart the stage with his signature leather jacket and mpc / guitar assult on the crowd.

After that the rest is a blur, Theophilus London kept the energy going, Kid Sister smashed the place and i played a bunch of my favorite tunes while Andy Milonakis rapped and a gorilla danced on stage!

Ninjasonik closed it out in style and left everyone hot and sweaty and probably a lil batter and bruised.

So far all the block parties have had their own regional vibe which I really dig, which makes me really excited to see what happens in Chicago this Saturday. Let's go out with a bang, Chi-town i know you got it in you. Make sure to rsvp at maddecentblockparty.com

Bonus:
The running gag for all the block parties have been the, what seems like endless supply of airhorns. Glenjamn got ahold of one and made this awesome sneak attack video. Watch your back Chicago.
Thanks goes out to all the sites that covered the event!
