Live from Goat Island by Aritzia
“Live from Goat Island” is a follow up to my indie pop tropical mixtape last year "Of Cities and Escapes", it's been playing in Aritzia Stores for a while now but it was just made public on the Web last week... I consider it a mix to clean your room to type thing... it's full of UK future bass, nu disco and some rap and is inspired by my time on Goat Island during my last trip to Hawaii. From its beautifully decayed benches, i's calm lil’ bay and three beaches, to its status as a bird sanctuary, Goat Island is a varied paradise that I love. It was first inhabited by a 19th-century lawyer, who proclaimed himself king of the island when he found it was not on any of the king's maps. It is also the island where he kept his two mistresses. This mix is my love letter to the island—varied, calming, upbeat and fun.
