I think he is a great talent he just needs to turn the knobs on his basses or the high end of them a little more, like to eleven or some shit. I think Kelis owes her popularity to all the remixers who turn her shitty tracks into some thing worth while. I don't want to hate like a few of these other folks without giving a proper reason.

Dub Step is popular because a bunch of un(der)exposed-to-electronic-music people need a trend to cling onto before they are deemed uncool by peers of the same demographic. Although on a side note Hold On is still sort of dope...
