Yo I only got two more days here so that means only one more post after this. Sorry if they are borring or annoying but i gotta post every day to keep my Valu Up (hahaha, and a tear @Nick).
I can not get enough of this song, peep the video, i always thought these Tamil tunes were from the 60’s but 1991, whaa?!?!?!?!?!
So anyways back to da Desi Journal, the press caught word of Bappi’s latest music project with us and he decided to hold a press conference. We found a rooftpop terrace in the heart of Dharavi for it to take place, and the fact that our party got pushed back to the same day as the press conference worked out great. So the reporters showed up and the Kids showed up and Bappi came right on time, there was a huge crowd at the bottom of the building trying to come up, but the security held it down.

With everyone there we did the big photo press op photo shoot thing, there were maybe 8 TV crews and even more from newspapers, it was sorta nuts.

So after that we all went and sat down each made our announcements, bappi talked about how much he loves kids, i spouted about Mad Decent and Heaps Decent and Rahul and Matias spoke on their work for Dharavi.org. After that we had one on ones which were fun and the next day I was expecting the worse, but most of the writeups got it right and focused on the people of Dharavi and how we can all help. Anyways time for the rooftop party.

The party was crazy (Diplo, Jasper next time can I bring a photographer, djing and being party photographer is a workout) I got to play everything from Classic Tamil to Hoy to Bulgarian Girls to Hindi Remixes to Temperature after being requested like 1000000 times.

The party got too packed and too crazy so we had to have people leave before it was too much. Anyways, the best part was at the end of the night, this shy lil kid sat down next to me and asked me to dance, I was like whatever okay. Then suddenly lil dude turned from shy dude to super dance machine, he was doing moves like no one else, and he even did this thing where he’d turn his eyelids inside when he’d dance, i swear!!! i got the video to prove it
