Dancing with the...stars?

Halloween might still be a month away, but in honor of the coming fall our friend Josh recounts his favorite dance scenes from horror movies. Get down.
5. Violet's Dance of Death - Friday the 13th part 5
It's like a young Lady Gaga...or old Lady Gaga, I'm not sure, Lady Gaga is like a Spice Girl. I think the biggest thing directors/prodducers of the Friday the 13th movies were looking for on resumes were: will you get naked and can you dance. Somehow Violet got the part and still really didn't do either.
4. Wolf Dance - Teen Wolf
Now, is this a horror movie? Depends on how you look at it. It does have a wolf in it and it is not only a pivotal part in cinema but, also in sports. I think Teen Wolf should get credit for being the first flashy werewolf! The first cocky W.O.B. to hit the beat. Just look how that wolf struts into the gym, and remember that scene when he steals the ball from his own player and scores...classic wolf mentality basketball, I mean how did that werewolf make the team!?!?
3. Dance of the Creeps - Creepshow
Creepshow was the first true horror movie I ever saw. After Kindergarten I would stay at my friend Robbie's house and he had older brothers in High School who would watch Creepshow everyday, I thought it was AWESOME! But, this dance scene really freaked me out. I will admit when Ed Harris raises his hand above his head, makes that face in an attempt to show off some new sorta dance move...it really messed me up for a long time. I couldn't eat for a few days and just watching it again now makes me worry i'll start losing sleep again.
2. Crispin Burns up the Floor - Friday the 13th Part 4
This is obviously the number one dance scene of all times!!! Yes! Even better then the BMX dance duo in the movie Rad. My friend Matt went to see Crispin do a reading in 1994, after there was a meet and greet. He told the guy in front of him he had learned this entire dance scene at the age of 10. I guess the guy in front told Crispin about this and Matt was asked to perform it for Crispin. If you haven't seen this scene before enjoy. If you have, you can never truly get enough of it.
1. Jamie Lee and the Disco dick - Prom Night
There isn't much to say about this dance sequence but maybe the fact that they spent more time coordinating and planning it out then they did in casting, producing, editing, writing (possibly re-writing,) or directing this movie. It's one of those scenes that just keeps going and everyone starts by watching and then everyone joins in when they see how cool it is to (hmmm) disco dance? Look at some of the "high schoolers" dancing. That guy with a full beard!? It reminds me of my freshman year in high school, I went to this all hick high school out in the country and you were either a cowboy or a jock, or a cowboy-jock. Seriously though, I still look at my yearbook from 1993 and almost everyone of the kids who went there still looks older than me. My friend Matt (who is totally scared of Trickster from Brianscan) who learned the entire Crispin Glover dance from above, went to the same high school and the first day of school he went up to a kid with a full beard thinking he was a teacher and asked "sir, where is the counseling office?" The kid responded by shoving him into a locker and saying "I'm no fuckin' teacher" (the guy was a sophomore.)
Also, in this dance scene I swear there is a moment at the end where you see Lamar Latrell in the background dancing it up and doing his thang!
Shout out for the most uncomfortable dance scene: Jim Carrey in Once Bitten
