and thanks! so are the vocals too high then? i'll admit - i did the final mix/master over a course of about five or six hours late one night. basically i got the vocals back that night and really wanted it to be done the next day, so i couldn't really be a perfectionist on this one.

my theory goes like:

1) the night before the take down, i changed the track title from "K-0TiC Couture - Rockstar's Revenge" to "Nicki Minaj - Roman's Revenge (club remix ft. K-0TiC Couture)" in an attempt to get more hits.

2) IFPI or their bots or whatever saw that and figured I was just straight uploading their content and ordered the take down

3) they looked at it again and saw we were really making a new song out of it, had a change of heart and told Soundcloud to reinstate it.

That is giving IFPI/RIAA a huuuuuge benefit of the doubt since that doesn't seem to be the kind of thing they'd usually do in step 3, but whatever.

Related: didn't Soundcloud use to have an option to license your track as "No Rights Reserved?" Cuz yea as much as we think it should be within our rights to post remixes like this, i can see how it would cause a conflict when those uploads are licensed as "All Rights Reserved."

Soundcloud went on some crazy copyright raid on thursday. They took down rusko tracks from our mad decent soundcloud saying that the track was owned by mad decent.......
