The world of dance music is at times, really missing melody. There are too many songs that just feed you one weird sound again and again and again. But that’s fine, they have their time and place but so does Foxsky‘s “The Whip.” This is music from a Zelda game of tomorrow, A Link to the Future 2099. You’ll find yourself air pianoing this song after the first listen. It’s 8 bit cinematic floor filler at moombahton tempo that ends with victorious, “we’re heading home, we won the mission” vibes.

If the original wasn’t enough, we have packed the release with huge remixes. Jeffree alumni ETC!ETC! and The Reef each give their own take on the “The Whip”, these are huge. We also find newcomer Vass with a massive trap remix that we can’t get off repeat, then we finish it off with Udachi’s dark bmore club influenced reimagination of Foxsky’s banger.
