Our fearless leader of dubstep has returned, unveiling his first official release since last summer’s floor-wobbling debut album, O.M.G. Rusko’s “Everyday” is a huge hands-in-the-air banger to start the summer, and we’ve got an amazing group of remixes to go alongside it. Netsky pulls off the same trick as Sub Focus did with “Hold On,” turning Rusko’s pretty production on “Everyday” into an all out smasher. Huge huge tune, but don’t sleep on Original Sin’s drum n bass remix and the funky garage leaning remix from DJ Q – this is the best remix pack we’ve had in a long time. The b-side “Lick The Lizard” is a collaboration between Rusko and fellow dubstep pioneer Reso, and it’s the perfect companion track to “Everyday,” busting out the nasty basslines and pure dubstep sound that Rusko’s known for. Quite the return to form.
