Album Info
Our indefatigable label head is coming with a non-stop stream of tracks this fall: first “Que Que” with Dillon Francis and Maluca, then “Pick Your Poison” with Datsik & Kay and now “Go” with Oliver Twizt, not to mention new Major Lazer and all the tracks he’s produced for people like Wale, Chris Brown, Beastie Boys, Lil Wayne and others. Oliver Twizt has been one of our favorite Dutch producers over the last couple years, turning in his own brand of that nation’s signature sound on tracks like “Loca” and remixes for Angger Dimas, Afrojack, Sandro Silva and others.
“GO” brings Diplo & Oliver together for an unorthodox club killer with the weirdest swing we’ve ever heard. The original is worth riding out, but if you need to go straight to a shot of big room immediacy, check out the monster remix from PeaceTreaty. Lots of great fodder on these remixes: more Dutchness from Kid Kaio, and a Mexican pointy boots Tribal mix from Erick Rincon, then outta left filed comes the Swarms remix, which is as scary as it is pretty. Taking the five mixes together, you get a tidy picture of our varied Mad Decent world.
