The mighty Hollertronix series rolls on with a yet another new direction. Following the popularity of “rockstar” type remixes on the Philly and Baltimore club scenes, we get 5 tracks from young gun producer DJ Sega and Mad Decent staple DJ Blaqstarr. DJ Sega is a 20 year old walking encyclopedia of club music. He holds down the biggest all-ages rollerink parties in Philadelphia, playing strictly his own productions and remixes- he’s got like 200 plus tracks in the tank! The 5 tracks here are part of the cannon that makes the young kids get buck (search youtube for “jamz late night”). DJ Blaqstarr you should already know, and he drops a remix of “Smack My Bitch Up,” one of his signature crowd crushers. You aren’t gonna hear tracks like these anywhere else.
