Hollertronix returns! This series has been a mainstay on the remix & club record circuit, going strong for about 6 years now. #9 features a loosely African theme with Kuduro based remixes from Portugal's giants on the scene, BURAKA SOM SISTEMA, Angola's DJ ZNOBIA, and the London based RADIOCLIT dudes (while not African in any manner, these guys have a lock on about a million dierent sounds and scenes).
BURAKA and DIPLO pair up to remix LIL WAYNE'S summer smash "A Milli" and it's all the six minute monster you'd hope it would be. BURAKA also takes on dubstep star SKREAM's "Blipstream" and drops just the right amount of MISSY vocals over an original production on "Work It Rewire." DJ ZNOBIA kills his version of SWITCH'S "A Bit Patchy" (which sold over 15K on vinyl), mixing in a Kuduro beat and snippets of JR REID's "One Blood". RADIOCLIT reworks the mellow dance hit "Emerge" from FISCHERSPOONER. 5 Powerful tracks.
