Album Info
Just in time for Jeffree’s 1-year anniversary comes our 6th compilation. Volume 6 features a handful of rising young producers as well as artists we’ve come to know and love. Featuring Djemba Djemba, Swick, Toadally Krossed Out, GTA and Doorly. Each and every track on Jeffree’s volume 6 is completely original and dance floor ready. Out Nov. 29th we’ve got an new Jeffree release from Doorly. “RUSH” is a soothing track with soft vocals over a hard-hitting UK instrumental that could be played at peak in any current London club. Djemba Djemba is an up and coming bass producer based in Los Angeles who isn’t afraid to experiment and craft sounds that are out of this world. He contributes two amazing trap instrumentals titled “Oh Ok Yeah That’s Cool”, and “I Just Go” taking you on a musical journey through polyrhythms, 90’s FM synths, and the all-important 808 kicks. Swick, an artist who rose from Melbourne, Australia drops two tropical house tracks called “Bubbles”, and “Protein Shake”. Both are the epitome of genreless bangers and would fit perfectly in any club setting. Toadally Krossed Out, a duo made up of Paul Devro and Derek “DJA” Allen flip hardstyle on it’s head and throw Mad Decents recent golden child RiFF RAFF on vocal duty. Their other contribution “Toad Gibbons” is a moombahton masterpiece featuring stretched out synth lines and a couple croak samples thrown in for good measure. JWLZ and VanToth AKA GTA, an up and coming Miami based duo contribute some bootylicious Big Room with “Booty Bounce” and “Shake Dem”. Both featured heavily in Diplo’s live sets, drop these tracks and everyone in the room will be shaking and breakin’ all types of sweat.
Originally released on Dec 11, 2012.
