After spending the last two years creating high profile remixes for the likes of Santigold, Gucci Mane, Radioclit and more, Mumdance (aka Jack Adams) switched his focus to all original productions with the release of his successful debut Mad Decent EP, “Mum Decent”.
Following the release of “Mum Decent” we received so many remixes from producers and friends all around the world we had to come with a remix EP! Tony Senghore starts it off with the first of two “Don’t Forget Me Now” remixes. More than doubling the length of the original, Tony takes the track into epic (8 minute!) territory, twisting the original into a dozen new directions. On the flip side Douster builds a new track of syncopated percussion around Esser’s vocals. Mele reconstructs “Smasher” while Top Billin turns it into a dark club banger with a brand new hook. Jack Sparrow removes the sharp edges from the EP’s hardest track “Sacrifice,” using the Badness vocals perfectly and turning smooth club track. Great variety from a grip of our favorite upcoming producers.
Originally released on Feb 01, 2011.
